In a chilling revelation in Jiah Khan's death, a CBI charge sheet has revealed intricate details so graphic, it'll make even the toughest of us cringe. Adding a fresh angle to the actresses emotional and physical turmoil leading to her death, the CBI charge sheet reports that Jiah Khan was pregnant with boyfriend Sooraj Pancholi's baby and goes on to talk about how Sooraj aided her subsequent abortion.
Rabia Khan, the mother of deceased had moved to the High court seeking investigation as she smelled something fishy in her daughter’s death, HC obliged by asking CBI to make an investigation.
The charge sheet submitted by CBI on Wednesday explains the role of Sooraj in abortion with complete details of the happening. Mumbai Mirror got this information from a source, which tells that Sooraj was informed by Jiah about her pregnancy when she was four weeks pregnant. They both then met a physician who prescribed some medicines for medical termination of pregnancy (MTP), however these medicines didn’t helped, then they met another doctor and at last a gynaecologist who suggested some very strong medicines.
The charge sheet reads, “After taking the medicine, Khan started hemorrhaging and called Pancholi for help. She was in pain and needed immediate medical attention but Pancholi allegedly asked her to wait and called up the gynaecologist for guidance. He was asked to rush Khan to hospital as the foetus had probably aborted but had not been expelled from the body, which is probably what led to the hemorrhaging.”
The charge sheet further reports that this episode left a deep emotional scar on Khan and to make matters worse, Sooraj started avoiding her and their relationship. The emotional trauma was too much for Jiah to handle and hence she drowned herself in depression before committing suicide.
The startling revelations were made only after CBI recorded the statement of doctors, who are among the 11 new witnesses examined. Meanwhile, Sooraj Pancholi remained unavailable to comment on the development.
Jiah loved Sooraj a lot but this incident left her heart-broken and Sooraj also started avoiding her. The charge sheet reads, “This added to her depression which finally drove her to suicide.”
Juhu police has not written anything about this incident in their charge sheet and it came into notice only when the statements of doctors was also recorded by CBI, with the 11 new witnesses.
Earlier the CBI was very secretive about the matter of charge sheet and it only talked about a case against a “private person” under IPC Section 306.
The charge sheet also reads, “The wilful conduct of the accused narrated in the note written by the deceased, her intimate relationship, the physical abuse, the mental and physical torture which she experienced, allegedly led the deceased to commit suicide.”
“The accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial,” as stated in the charge sheet.
Search was conducted by CBI on Sooraj’s Mumbai house and many documents, letters, pen drives and memory cards were found. A CBI officer disclosed on the condition of anonymity, “Everything was sent to the Delhi headquarters of the CBI for analysis which provided the team with very crucial leads.”
